Important Igor Loco Update July 2026

Making our first loco has been a huge challenge and a steep learning curve for us.

As with all our products we will not release an item for production unless we are 100% happy with it and we can be certain that it will give years of trouble free service. This has meant we have had to completely redesign Igor's chassis. The new 2mm steel chassis has proved itself exceptionally smooth, and adds weight and power to the loco. It also enables us to make Igor gauge-adjustable for 32mm or 45mm use.

We are investing in a new CNC machine to bring component manufacturing in house. Outsourcing these critical components is not working well for us. They are proving very costly to prototype, can vary in quality, and can take a very long time to get manufactured.

We are sorry for the delay and are grateful for your patience. We hope to have Igor on sale again in early 2027 and hope you will think the newly redesigned Igor was well worth the wait!
